Sales 30.52 million Euros (+577%), EBIT 4.52 million Euros ? Further extension of home and foreign activities concluded ? 2008 forecast confirmed Düsseldorf, March 6, 2008 - systaic AG (SJK; ISIN DE000A0JKYP6) publish their provisional figures for the business year 2007. Last year the company was able to continue their growth curve and strongly developed in all business areas. In 2007, turnover increased by 577% to 30.52 million Euros (2006, 4.5 million Euros). The earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) amounted to 4.52 million Euros (2006, -0.88 million Euros) and thus was far above the originally predicted value. The EBIT margin (relating to turnover and change in inventory value) has reached 14.8 %, a high level in comparison to the industry. The annual net profit was approx. 1.72 million Euros in 2007. Detailed information on the Group results will be published together with the approved annual accounts. For the total year 2008, systaic AG expects an overall turnover of abt. 200 million Euros due to their full order books. The company aims at a return on sales of approx. 6 %. Because of the good results in 2007 the SYSTAIC employees will receive an incentive payment in addition to their salary. A bonus amounting to an additional monthly salary will be paid for the dedication and engagement of the staff in order to reach the group targets concerning turnover and profit. The company plans to change into the regulated market transparency level 'Prime Standard' in the second half of 2008. Further development decided for Germany and abroad. In order to make this significant growth possible, systaic AG has planned to further develop its capacities in Germany, Spain and France. In this context the key location is Germany where there is a fast development of the marketing and sales activities for the SYSTAIC energy roof, its core product. Thanks to the complete starting up of its own production plant in Landsberg am Lech, Bavaria the company has created sufficient production capacities to annually produce 40 Megawatts of panels, from the middle of the year, in order to supply key customers with high quality manufacturing which it controls directly. During this year, systaic AG will employ 45 high-qualified additional collaborators. Concerning the planning and building of solar energy power plants in Spain, there are further demands for a capacity of over 60 MWp from the side of institutional investors, although their orders depend upon the new Spanish alternative energy legislation which has not yet been implemented. In France we would like to become market leaders for the production of roof-integrated solar systems by the end 2009.
