DARMSTADT (Dow Jones)--Die Software AG, Darmstadt, plant die Übernahme der webMethods Inc. Das deutsche Softwareunternehmen teilte am Donnerstag mit, ein Barangebot von 9,15 USD je Aktie abzugeben. Das entspreche einem Gesamtangebot von etwa 546 Mio USD (umgerechnet: 408,4 Mio EUR.)
WebMethods ist ein Anbieter von Software für die Integration und Optimierung von Geschäftsprozessen, der im Geschäftsjahr 2006 Umsätze in Höhe von 208 Mio USD (155,6 Mio EUR) ausgewiesen hat.
