The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. =------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 21.02.2012 Expansion of the Board of ATB Austria Antriebstechnik AG The Supervisory Board of ATB Austria Antriebstechnik AG has appointed Ian Lomax, Managing Director of British subsidiary ATB Morley Ltd as Chief Operating Officer, effective from February 17,2012.The appointment of the UK based Manager corresponds to the further Internationalization of the ATB group. Ian Lomax is described by UK New Business Magazine as a grounded entrepreneur passionate about manufacturing and innovation. He is a Chartered Engineer with over thirty years experience in the electric motor industry with extensive knowledge of electrical and mechanical design. Ian has been a board member of ATB Morley since 2002 and has played a significant role in the growth of that business from EUR 8 Mio in 2002 to almost EUR 31 Mio in 2011. Under Ian´s leadership the business has also received two highly prestigious Queen´s Awards, the first in 2009 for International Trade and the second, in 2010, for Innovation. Together with Mr. Christian Schmidt. CEO, and Ms. Angel Chen, CFO, Mr. Lomax will drive operational performance in alignment with the corporate strategy of ATB Austria Antriebstechnik AG. He will focus on promoting sustainable growth and expansion while focusing on the key business drivers in the motor industry, driving corporate strategy and promoting best practices in the operational area of the Group. The newly formed association with the Wolong Group will allow the strong brands in the business to realize their global market potential" says Ian Lomax. About Ian Lomax Ian Lomax, 53, is Managing Director of ATB Morley Ltd., a British ATB subsidiary located in Leeds, UK. He joined ATB Morley as Technical Director in 2002 and has played a significant role in the development and growth of the business. He became MD in late 2007. He spent the first 20 years of his career at ALSTOM (now Converteam) in Rugby in the UK and Nancy in France in all areas of electric motor design for industries including oil and gas, power generation, marine propulsion and defence. Mr. Lomax has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters in Engineering Business Management gained at Warwick University. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, a member of the Institute of Directors and a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts.
