Auf dem SAP-Campus in Walldorf hat Hitachi Data Systems (HDS) ein Kompetenzzentrum für SAP-Lösungen eingerichtet. Vertriebspartner und deren Kunden können das Labor für Testzwecke nutzen.
HDS wird dort weitere SAP-basierte Lösungen entwickeln und zertifizieren. Das Zentrum bietet auf über 300 Quadratmetern Fläche ein Labor sowie mehrere Besprechungsräume, in denen sich Szenarien für die Nutzung von HDS-Technologien mit der HANA-Plattform von SAP entwerfen und testen lassen. Interessenten erhalten außerdem Zugriff auf bereits ermittelte Testdaten. Darüber hinaus werden SAP und HDS die gemeinsame Entwicklung neuer Technologien vorantreiben, etwa im Cloud-Umfeld oder bei mobilen Echtzeitlösungen.
Zur Eröffnung am 12. Juli 2012 kamen mehr als 150 Besucher, darunter Kunden und Interessenten sowie Partner und Mitarbeiter beider Unternehmen. "Seitdem wir weltweiter SAP-Partner sind, hat die Bedeutung unserer Beziehung zu SAP stetig zugenommen. Wir teilen die gleichen Ziele bei der Entwicklung kommender Technologien", sagt Matthias Czwikla, Vice President, Global SAP Field Alliance bei Hitachi Data Systems.
