Über 70 Prozent aller jüngst zum Verkauf angebotenen stationären PCs arbeiten mit einem Prozessor aus dem Hause Intel. Zu diesem Ergebnis kommt eine Studie der BFL Leasing GmbH für den Zeitraum März 2006. Untersuchungsgrundlage waren sämtliche Computer, die in Deutschland im Internet angeboten wurden - sowohl neue als auch gebrauchte Rechner.

Die dominierende CPU innerhalb der Intel-Familie ist der "Pentium 4": Er ist in knapp der Hälfte aller stationären Computer zu finden. Die AMD-Fraktion kommt zusammen auf etwa 23 Prozent, Apple-Prozessoren auf knapp 6 Prozent.
Noch extremer ist Intels Vorherrschaft bei den Notebook-Prozessoren, wo 83 Prozent ein Intel-Herz in sich tragen. (tö)
