Die Informatica Corporation, Anbieter von Datenintegrationssoftware, bietet mit ihrer neuen Plattform Informatica 9.5 verschiedene Neuerungen, um Hadoop auf Enterprise-Ebene salonfähig zu machen. Informatica 9.5 führt die Unterstützung von Twitter-Streaming ein und ein Streaming von API für ankommende RSS, ATOM oder andere Web-Feed-Protokolle. Die neue Version bietet Unterstützung durch Informatica Fast Clone and Data Replication HDFS für hochvolumige Snapshots und Datenreplikation fast in Echtzeit in Hadoop.
Mit Informatica 9.5 können die Kunden ab sofort auch natives Google Protobuf Parsing und die Transformation auf Hadoop mit dem Informatica HParser durchführen. Die Software Policy-basierte Datenarchivierung zu Hadoop und Unterstützung von Mixed Workload für Entwicklung, Implementierung, Überwachung und Verwaltung von Hadoop und Non-Hadoop-Jobs zusammen in einer hybriden IT-Umgebung, verfügbar als Teil des Beta-Programms.
